HEATING SYSTEM

The inspector shall view / inspect readily accessible panels provided by the manufacturer / installer for routine homeowner maintenance, permanently installed heating systems including: heating equipment, normal operating controls (thermostat), automatic safety controls, chimneys, flues, vents (limited view of these areas), fuel heating devices, heat distribution systems including fans, pumps duts & piping, with supports, dampers, insulation, air filters, registers, radiators, fan coil units, convectors, and the presence of a permanently installed heat source in each habitable room. The inspector shall describe the energy source, heating equipment & distribution type.
